Which Boots Do You Like?

I don't know really what it is that I don't like about them. I know I don't care for the heel, and I think the last 2 are absolutely generally hideous. As for the others...*shrug* Just not a fan.

Either that, or I'm just an attention whore and I've figured out how to get the most of it.

Maybe a little of both. :-P

About the title

"Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit" says Aeneas to his men in the first book of Virgil's epic (my translation is the title of the blog). He's encouraging his men after they've been shipwrecked on their long voyage from Troy to Italy. I first read it in the spring of my sophomore year of college, around the time I decided to be a classics major. The lines we were reading started coming alive; the episodes were meaningful. I took this line to mean that all experiences, even the tough times, can be helpful and even encouraging to remember. This blog preserves a just a few of them.
