It didn't go as perfectly as I had planned, but maybe that was because I hadn't planned perfectly. I made poor Laura turn the car around a quarter of the way there because I had forgotten my course policies (aka syllabuses). And once we reached the school, I realized I didn't have the lesson plans! I was praying a prayer of my own during staff devotions.
Despite all, it went well. I definitely broke the rule "don't smile before Christmas". I think you can build rapport and respect when you're joking as well or more easily than not. But that theory will be tested during the coming months, won't it!

What the crap, Katie? You look adorable, AS FRICKIN' ALWAYS!!!!
*grumble grumble*
Anyway, I MISS YOU!! I'm so glad it went well, and the little mishaps were so very you that you could hardly call them mishaps! You're a grown-up now...how does it feel?
Also, side note, if you're interested in reading some ideas of how the world could operate sans government, check out lewrockwell.com (especially articles by Lew Rockwell himself). I always refer to it as my favorite libertarian website, but the editor-in-chief and many of the columnists (certainly not all of them) are technically anarcho-capitalists. Their arguments finally convinced me. OK so I guess that's too much for a "side" note, but oh well. I hope the rest of your week is jolly good!
Haha, thanks guys. But if you see the regular size version of the picture you can see how puffy my eyes are from staying up too late.
:)
Is that Wheelock's Latin I spy upon your desk?
Hey, missy, it was a funny article and I was bored at work!
